CAUTION: Before using Powerpole or commencing any training program you should consult your doctor or sports professional.
Powerpoles is like any piece of equipment and if not used with caution (this could be, to fast or on to heavy a setting before you are ready) soreness or injury may occur.
This is a beginner manual and has been compiled to help you start with the basics.
There is a recommended food regime later in the book, but this is only a general guide and you should consult your doctor of dietician.
Powerpole Maintenance Powerpole is a hydraulic/static fluidic device and this area is about supplying some useful information on how to look after and use your Powerpole.
Just like any hydraulic equipment with rubber seals, some care is needed in maintenance and use.
Storage:
How to Use: Before you start on any day: Take the Powerpole and put one end on the floor and place a foot in it, then pull upward slowly, this will beak the seals and lubricate them at the same time.
Powerpole is a push/pull device, it has strength settings but there is no “impossible level”. The way you exercise with Powerpole is just to apply resistance in and out as you are capable. Super slow is by far the safest and most beneficial way to use the Powerpole.
Maintenance: Powerpole is user serviceable and may need water from time to time, depending on level of use or care in storage.
To add water: Remove screw in end of Powerpole (under handle) and add water.
